Taking her successes and experience from her #hireme campaign, Mandi now blogs about harnessing the power of social media to impress employers, get interviews, and get hired. Specializing in combining traditional job search tactics with social media trends, her blog teaches job seekers how to develop and execute effective strategy to promote themselves and get the job they want.

It's a little known fact that Mandi is an executive chef trapped in the body of a social media and marketing professional. After over 8 years of cooking together, she and her two best friends started Cream City Cuisine to showcase their talents and recipe-writing skills. They were recently featured in Sprecher Brewery's Grilling with Beer contest at the Wisconsin State Fair, and specialize in writing recipes that use Wisconsin-made products, namely beer, cheese, and wine.  Truly a "taste of Wisconsin's best."

Checking off one of her goals on her Mighty Life List, Mandi signed up with Team Challenge in Spring 2011 to run a half marathon in Napa Valley, CA to benefit the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). She started a blog to chronicle her journey from Couch Potato to Aspiring Runner, and, in 3 months raised over $1,500 for the CCFA, garnered local press coverage for her efforts, and had her blog accepted to AllTop. She continues to write about her fitness journey, and, no doubt, will continue to check off items on her Mighty Life List.

Mandi completed a professional project in place of a Master's thesis to cap her graduate education at Marquette University. For her project, she developed Constant Foreigner, a site dedicated to sharing the stories of those who live, travel, study, and work abroad and the cultural, psychological, and emotional issues they face. At the culmination of her project she wrote a book proposal on this topic, and this is one of the sample chapters telling the story of her friend, Aaron, who is a missionary in France.
